I came here expecting to read about the controversy and LT's comments after the game, but you stayed with a heartfelt and thoughtful analysis of what happened on the field.

Every year the Pats lose players to teams willing to overpay to get winners. The Patriots keep rplacing them and moving on. the Chargers are at that level, too. They'll be back.

I'm still hurting from Keith Lincoln.

Thank you so much. I forwarded this to a select few that "may" have felt like this. I have such a hard time trying to make people understand me and my investment. I am sure mine is very short of even yours (although I nursed at the bosom of the Chargers as a baby) but this really put it into words as eloquently as only you could have, what I am going through.

I will admit to skimming past some of the "play-by-play" and "analysis" of the game because honestly, analysis is only good if there is another game to play and mistakes to fix. I cannot focus on this at this time. Like you said, "a part of me died"...again. I am not "on" the "Band Wagon" I am driving the "Band Wagon"!! There is sooo much room for people who are willing to "invest".

I felt as if my boys were on that team. As disappointed as I was, was as proud as I was. They brought my family and my community closer this year. My season tickets were one of the best gifts ever!! I have a 20 & 21 year old. Do you know how hard it is to get all of us together without money or gifts involved?!!!!

There was no better energy or "feel good" than was at that stadium this past Sunday. I was so happy and would not have traded that day for even a win (well, maybe). It was electric!! It was good, healthy, honest fun and excitement. Even with our fall, there were tears and well wishes. There were high fives and hugs among strangers. We as a community/society don't "touch" enough, we were touched and touched back.

I am so proud of this web site and the "true fans" that follow it. We are a rare breed and I am proud to stand tall when I say I am a CHARGER FAN, today and always!! I will keep rolling with the punches and punching the nay sayers. Thank you for helping me heal. "That that does not kill us makes us stronger". Well meet Hercules people!!! Hear me ROAR! GO CHARGERS!!!! See ya next year!!
